When the coil is energized, a magnetic field is generated around the solenoid. This magnetic field interacts with the external magnetic field, causing the iron core to push or pull. When current passes through the solenoid, the iron core will be pushed and move outward; when the current stops, the effect of the external magnetic field disappears, and the iron core will return to its original position1. This push-pull effect can be used to implement various applications, such as switching functions in electromagnetic relays, robotic arm motion control in automated production lines, etc.
